Budding Futures Forum

The Budding Futures Forum (BFF) is our family leader advocacy program. Families of young children from across the WNC region meet for 6 virtual advocacy workshops and have the opportunity to complete a Capstone Project. Our Budding Futures Forum members have met with policymakers, spoken at events and to the media, told their child care stories, planned advocacy events, and activated other parent leaders to take action. Our BFFs help kids and families reach mountaintops!
Childcare professionals bring local experience and expertise to state and federal legislators to inform and educate on early childhood and childcare policy issues. Nominated childcare providers from across our 19 represented counties come together to learn the background and processes in which childcare policies are made. We dive into their own community advocacy stories to be able to share them with legislators as they complete the cohort.
